This place would easily get 5 stars if it weren’t for one incredibly self-centered employee who continually parks in the patient parking area. Those spots are meant for patients, especially those who require mobility assistance, yet management seems unconcerned about addressing the issue. It’s disappointing, because the physical therapist and PTA here are absolutely awesome—professional, caring, and great at what they do. I would have stopped coming because of this ongoing problem, but the excellent care from the rest of the staff keeps me coming back.

I experienced back and hip injuries from an accident.  My orthopedist referred my to Riverbend in Metairie.  Neil Romig evaluated and treated me with compassion and professionalism. We absolutely loved our experience with Restore Physical Therapy. Our 13 y/o had an extensive leg surgery. Lauren and Liz were amazing with her! We felt like part of a family there and they were so flexible With our appointments and willing to adjust according to our needs. They utilized multiple methods of therapy for our daughter. I had a third procedure  on the same knee. Two total knee replacements and a revision to remove a bone spure, scar tissue and move my knee cap up so I could have more flexion. I have been having this pain since 2014. I have been to several physical therapist and no one has been able to help until Dr.Schumacher recommended "Restore Physical Therapy" on hwy 21.  I had the revision on July 8,2020. At the end of July I started PT at  "restore  physical therapy.   4 months twice a week.   Today I graduated. I always looked forward to going. Lauren made sure I was never in pain.   I am going to miss them. I felt myself get stronger at each visit Progress at every visit.   Lauren Olsen, PT, DPT really knows her job, beyond the normal PT., I was actually able to run in my kitchen. Lauren had an assistant, Emily who was very knowledgable and knew what she had to do. And of course there was Liz did a variety of jobs from setting appointments to assisting me in exercises.  They were a team! I felt like they were all my friends. I received the best care from Restore.  Before therapy started I couldn’t raise my arm but half way up above my head. After 6 weeks of therapy Ashley had me raising my arm totally above my head. My shoulder was frozen when I started and she did magic on my shoulder.  I would recommend Restore Physical Therapy to anyone that really wants to get results. After a complete Knee Replacement I was treated at the Metairie office. The care extended to me was exceptional in all ways. Best pt experience ever! (And I have needed more than I care to remember.) Never felt like I was pushed too hard, but my recovery (went twice for two different injuries) was quick. I would highly recommend Riverbend Physical Therapy. I suffered from sciatica nerve pain in both legs from 2012 thru 2018 on a daily basis. After a few sessions with Riverbend the nerve pain ended. CARING AND KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF!  My son started PT at Riverbend for a broken arm. When he returned for a post op appointment, his surgeon was amazed with his progress.
